Ephesians 3:14-19 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith;

Tthat ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth,
and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge,
that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Day 17—All That God is Doing Brings Us to the Fullness of the Times.
It is a marvelous day when we discover that all God is doing—with us, plus with all the others in whom He is working—is leading to the consummation of this age. While our minds cannot grasp nearly all that He is doing now, we can trust Him. And, we can rejoice that He has laid His hand on us to have a part of in what He is bringing to pass.

Our next verse points to the conclusion of this age. Let’s see it—verse Ephesians 1:10. That in the dispensation of the fullness of times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in Him… The amazement continues to grow. What God is doing in us now, as well as in all the others who know Him, will come to its consummation in Him.

There is something very significant about the word dispensation in the above verse. The word in the Original is oikonomía. It means an “administration of household government.” In actuality, it points to the administration of His Kingdom.

In the fullness of times there is coming an administration that will be under the governorship of Christ Jesus. There will be no limit to its administrative reach. And the marvel of it all is this: we will share with Him in it. Now, He is bringing us onward to know His Government in our own lives. He is making us into the children of the kingdom (Matthew 13:38) whom He will plant in His field which is the world (Matthew 13:37,38).

GREAT REDEEMER, I praise You for the mercy and grace by which You have drawn us unto Yourself. Please work on in us. Draw into submission the parts of our souls that have not yet submitted fully to Your rule. Take control of our wills, of our emotions, of our conscience. Rule our minds. Be our Master, fully, us so we can work well with You in Your Kingdom.
